Brand-new website: initial planning, design, development, and hosting.

CHALLENGES:

• New Voices School is be a resource for children in the Raleigh/Durham/Chapel Hill (Triangle) area who have mobility and/or communication challenges. Therefore, the website design had to be sensitive to these children and their parents.
• The website had to show photos of "typical" children that might attend the school.
• The website had to be handicapped (visual or hearing impairment) friendly.

W3Design SOLUTIONS:

• Used colors and an interesting design layout to engage visitors.
• Used photos of children on website to which potential students and their parents can relate.
• Followed all guidelines for Section 508 of the US Rehabilitation Act to make website accessible to both visually and hearing impaired users.
• Employed cascading style sheets (css) so site style and colors can be easily updated
