OReview Magazine is a technical journal for users of Oracle's database server. Each month's issue covers a different technical aspect of the database software.

CHALLENGE:

• "How to Escape Your Oracle Security Worries" is this issue's cover story. Security is an overworked topic in the database industry and most visual security analogies are overused.

SOLUTION:

• Concentrate on the word "escape" and use the analogy of Harry Houdini, the escape artist. Superimpose a photo of the head of Oracle Corp.'s CEO, Larry Ellison over a photo of Mr. Houdini's body in chains. Create the background in a Russian constructivist style to further reiterate the "escape" theme.
